I had a battery this summer go bad on me but ti said it was made in 2005 so it was 10 years sold. Back when I was in the Navy my dad gave me one of those forever batteries from J.C. Penny's and I think I had to have them replace it once every couple of years till they finally gave up and to me no more and that they no longer could/would warranty there forever batteries due to the fact they did not last long
