We've been bumping this subject a bit lately and I was interesteed in it for the following reasons. I am waiting on a set of 33x12.5x16.5 Titan turfs to replace my 12x16.5 R4s on the rear of a 4wd 24 hp Branson tractor. Circumferences are almost identical. Turfs are not like law mower tires. The tread is 11/32 and traction couldn't possibly be worse than the R4 rears they will be replacing for what I do.
I plan on leaving R4s on the front for added traction and stiff sidewalls and they will have adequate pressure to support the FEL.
I only use 4wd when necessary and if I am using it I am in a situation where traction is limited such that any ill effects caused by differences in grip should be minimized. From reading of others breaking front axles and such and seeing how they wound up in a situation where they broke the axle using the "auxiliary propulsion system" as a main drive is understandable. We'll see how it works out. Will post.

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
