I have done a lot of things in my life. The one thing I tell my kids is to work towards bettering yourself every single day. This can be learning new things or traveling to new places. It is not setting on your butt playing video games and eating junk food. It also is working steady at some thing too. It sounds nice say your going to take some time off to enjoy the world. Just do not take too much time off. My biggest mistake was not taking the time to "smell the roses" when I was younger. You never know when your time is up. You can fall ill tomorrow and then not be able to kick you heels up anymore. My one sister took her whole 20s off traveling the world and has been playing catch up ever since. She can show you pictures from around the world but has yet to live in her own home. So one has to find a balance.
