That picture is in a trailer, (probably the one the story mentions as being pulled from OK to CA), not the container.
Condensation shouldn't be a problem as those containers are virtually airtight. No inside/outside air exchange = no added moisture to condense. And, it was in the Sacramento area, really dry!
I see lots of dust, no rust.
My shop also get condensation on the floor when weather goes from cold/dry to warmer/high humidity. But, my storage room (really a good tight truck van body) doesn't suffer from condensation issues. Why? Because the storage isn't open to outside air infiltration, while the shop is always opened daily.
