I need to open my emails instead of trashing them I guess. The shop where both of my boys got their start in machining is selling out online today. Jay was heavy in to dirt track racing and ran a complete automotive machine shop,metal fabrication shop and auto repair shop. For some reason,he had an affection for John Deere too. There's a John Deere B with a snow plow and 20 lawn and garden tractors. There are two late model dirt track race car chassis,every kind of engine machining equipment,general machining equipment,hand tools,power tools,metal fabricating tools,you name it,he had it. It's near Lakeview Michigan.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
