2 cylinder? Hart-Parr- the beginning of Oliver brand from designers Hart and Parr, developed at University of Wisconsin. Initial plan was to make them in Madison, Wisconsin but city council was putting up road blocks, wanting plant changes- about what current city council still does. Charles city, Iowa politicians said something like' we have a industrial park area, some electrical power available, water available and can have all the building permits signed a hour after you submit plans'. A small later model of Moline(?) - the 4 and 6 cylinder engines had 2 cylinder 'sub cylinder blocks' with sets of 2 cylinder heads, the 2 cylinder engine was a short utility and row crop for specialty crops, engine and other castings made on same molds as larger engines that basicaly made a crankcase and crankshaft that had multiple 2 cylinder heads on multiple 2 cylinder sleeves and water jackets bolted to the crankcase like some continental engines into 1950s. Some place in archives is couple pictures of off yellow 2 cylinder tractor about same power as IHC H or maybe C with mower, MM model number. RN
