I know that I will be accused of trying to be cute, but I swear that this is what is recommended for dogs. Use Massengil [yes, we all know what this stuff is]. You are supposed to use the powdered kind that you mix yourself and not the pre-mixed liquid. I know that this sounds like a smart aleck answer, but I give you my word that it was recommended in a newspaper article as a cure for dogs who got on the wrong end of a skunk. The smell with eventually go away in time, but I'm sure that Momma won't be happy letting her car sit idle for a week or so. Had this smell on my car once. I tried washing it off at the car wash and then just waited it out. It will eventually go away.
