I could not agree more. This is the one site that I visit almost everyday. It does feel a lot like the small community in Ark that I grew up in.
Even though I sometimes still feel like the new guy in town here I enjoy reading and contributing when I can.
I will say that one of the best things that I enjoy about Y/T Town is that when you need help or information it is given freely and in most cases without even a hint of a "Put Down".
I know that when I was getting ready to use a bottom plow for the first time in my 52 years this group was right there giving me information and tips that they had learned or been taught. And after seeing videos that I posted gave me even more info on how to correctly setup my plow.
How many other places would that? I see it almost everyday here when someone needs to fix, fabricate or build something.
Farming info and advice is passed around kind of like the cattle farmers I grew up around.
Thanks to everyone for all you do and for helping others and myself.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
