On the back side of the bearings you will find something like std,.010,.020 .030 etc. That means, standard size, or .010 under size crank.If the crank is machined, it is under sized and the bearings will be over sized. You can t use a standard crank and .010 bearings,everything must match. Having said that, you will need a product called Plastigauge, any auto parts store should have it in stock. If you get the clearances you need use the old bearings. Just make sure it is right, or you will get to buy all of the parts again.
