I was using brake clean once to try to find a vacuum leak on an older ford truck. I guess enough of the brake clean puddled around the distributor and vapor got inside and flashed. It created a big fireball, not enough to burn anything but did blow the dist cap partially off and kill the engine. Luckily nobody was harmed, just some burned hair on face and one arm.
