I have a 72, 24-14 and I think it turns the same both ways, I would say you need to see what has slipped or been installed out of place. Center the steering wheel with the linkage disconnected and do what it takes to adjust the linkage to go back on with the wheels straight. Either the arm on the steering box is on out of position or the arms on top of the spindles are out of position.
