I had my 96 F250 Powerstroke at the dealer. It had quit running as I was going down the road. After I hauled it home I replaced a few sensors that always go bad, did a bunch of testing and finally gave up. Dealer told me it was the injectors for $2500 and the injector drive module $1100. I let them do the IDM and no way on the injectors. They couldn't get it running just blamed the injectors. I got thinking about it and realized I put a parts store cam position sensor in it. Went and put in a ford CPS and it started right up. Dealer couldn't find it and cost me $1100 for the IDM that most likely not needed. I don't trust dealers any more.
