I too see the good in it. For short quick messages and in places where talking on the phone is not the best to do. And like the others said it will go through sometimes where a call will not. I always said just think ole Alexander Graham Bell screaming from his grave. " I invented the phone so you could talk instead of use morse code on a telegraph" ! And yet here we all are tapping away at a phone or keyboard. I have the old lady's old phone. It is one of those sliding face ones so you have a keyboard. I have to use a pen to tap in a text as my fingers won't work on it. Same with the touch screen my fingers don't work on it very well either. I hate it as you can't pick it up without bumping a button and something weird happening on it. Maybe one day I'll just get a plain flip phone ?
