My son's buddy and his 10 year old boy stopped a couple of weeks ago and asked if they could fish the pond. I said sure--They went out and about 1/2 hour later I went out to see how they were doing. I had the Gator and stopped on the shore and asked how thick the ice was, said about a foot so I drove out. They were in the deepest part of the pond and were only catching the bass we stocked last April-I watched for awhile and went back to the shop. They game up an hour later with about 20 bluegills a little bigger than my hand- we stocked them-it will be 2 years this April. The boy took the ice auger and went to shallower water and that's were they caught them. Reading Larry's story about the hunters that shared their deer with him was good--the dad stopped last week with a zip-lock bag full of frozen cleaned bluegills. We are not fish-eaters here but the wife got her cookbook out and made beer-batter and deep fried them--GOOD!! So like Larry and his hunters--we have some good fisherman.----Tee

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
