Hi Bill Be careful the rules changed to get motorized self propelled stuff out of the USA into Canada in the last few years. The U.S paper work is a complete nightmare. If you buy anything with a motor including something like a lawn mower it all now has to be done.
My buddy did a tractor after this came in, the dealer wasn't to keen to do it again from what I was told! My buddy did lots of stuff before this and he quit as lots of smaller dealers don't want the bother dealing with it anymore. It's supposed to be even more difficult buying from a private seller off classified adds as they are not registered businesses to do the paperwork.
There is something like 72 hours border arrival notice required before it gets there so they can check everything before it leaves the country. if they don't like something with you the goods or paperwork they won't let it out and your done. This is for the guy that brought it bringing it in, A commercial shipper might have even more rules to follow now. I can't think what the forms and procedures called off hand, but things changed so much I can't just go across and get my tractor parts now either without paperwork problems on the Canada side. Thats now classed as commercial here farmings not exempt anymore. You need to speak to customs both sides of the border and find this stuff out first, before even thinking shipping and buying. Robert

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
