In my humble opion, the best small tractor ever made was the Massey 35 diesel. I still have one and it always seems to be ready to go. My wife used it for years to rake hay and she loved it. We now leave out big generator hooked to it in case of a power outage as it starts easy and just sips fuel. When it comes to newer Massey tractors I do not have any experience so I can not offer much but by observation I can state that there are not many being sold around here. Those of us that like the orphan tractors do so more from nostalgias, that and remembering them from our younger days, than from practical reasons. I like the rugged look of my Oliver 1800 diesel but I do not use it much because I have more modern tractors that are easier to use and have more power.
We, who happen to be proud Americans, have no prejudices against any offshore tractor manufactures that I am aware of.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
