Now days I usually try to stay out of disputes - BUT... Old has asked numerous times that you refrain from posting/replying to him. He initially did it politely - but you wouldn't stop replying to him. I can only assume his wishes would also pertain to posting "about" him.
From what I've ever observed, Old tries to be helpful to people (especially on mechanical, gardening and/or cooking posts). I enjoy Old's posts... and I do not observe him being ornery to folks unless they badger him.
If/when one is bored in the winter... I just don't understand anyone turning malicious against another person in this virtual community. We are after all... "neighbors" here. Sooooo, let's all put on our Big Boy/Girl Skivvies on and at least TRY to act like civilized people.
SORRY EVERONE! I much prefer to stay out of stuff like this... BUT when there is a continual pattern of one person maligning another, I guess it just gets under my skin.
