The guy who boils our sap picked up a CaseIH DX 48 tractor. Cute little thing. About the same dimensions as my 420. Weighs about a 1,000 more and of course it has a 4WD unit and about 12 more hp. on the PTO. I do get a chuckle out of using the 48 moniker. They try to make you believe you are getting more than you are. 48 engine hp. PTO is 40 something. Quite frankly, I think the claimed 4300 weight is rather optimistic also.
All of that aside, the 4WD unit on these small tractors, makes them rather handy. Far more useful than similar sized 2WD tractors of old. Especially with a loader on.
