I think both are good tractors. This is a hard one. I assume both are 4x4.
Ford is heavier, bigger motor but 4 HP less, carries more fuel too.
If the Ford has the 8x2 I'd be more inclined to the Kubota since you have the left hand shuttle on it versus the having to find an 8x8 3430.
Kubota has a nicer platform, the center 4 speed stick is the only thing that isn't neatly tucked into a console, its almost a full platform tractor versus open style straddle and smallish fenders of the 3430.
Almost bought an M5640SU, which is slightly bigger than the M4700. I spent a lot of time on an 8x8 5030 4x4, two sizes up from the 3430. The 5030 felt less refined than the equivalent M6800 I've been around.
I don't think you'd regret either tractor, depends who has the better deal, but I think I'd go Kubota, 4 more HP and you don't need a bunch of extra weight to handle a finish mower.
