Value of a 40+ year old tractor is variable to say the least. One of the main things I would look at on a tractor of this age is the tires . They may still hold air , and have plenty of tread left, but can be as dry rotted that if you start to pull some tillage equipment with them , they will split. Rear tires can easy set you back $1,000.00 each for a new tire and remove and reinstall. So if the tractor has the original tires , I would factor new rubber into the price.
