that is something you can make your own diagnosis on , or take a mechanic with you. the biggest bonus is so the exhaust pipe be covered and the fuel system have fuel to keep from rusting. try turning it over first by hand or with a bar. myself i like to lube the cyl's first think. it just needs a visual valuation on it. many times a combine is parked for other reasons than the engine. AND... you would get a better deal taking the whole combine . i would start at 500.00 per machine. i have seen many on adds , free just remove it.even saw a nice looking 660 case i believe it was... for 40.00 and get it gone. i bought a low j. d. 60 from my nieghbour this summer , that i know sat out side for at least 30 years not running. tires all flat and rotten. did not take much to get it running. was not siezed either.
