There 25 years ago. I would need 2 days to see most of it. 600 acres. At that time it was divided into eras. Got off shuttle and walked down through a timber hollow. At bottom were people dressed as Indian eras, their food was prepard as the Indians did. Seasonings were picked from several locations on the farm. Walked up the hill into pioneer era. every era dressed in proper clothing, cooking in log cabin in the fire place, men hoeing corn by hand with tools of the period, next walked into "turn of the century" that was 1900 period. 1900 era farm house, cooking on cook stove, baked pies in pie safe, chickens , loose hay brought in by horses, put in mow with horse drawn hay forks., stationary baler operated by horse that had to step over the bale chamber as he walked in circles, next was the modern period. Doomed house covered in soil, brine tank plumped for heat exchange, then town, church (can be reserved for wedding), steam powered saw mill, huge root sellar/cave that was the tourist food center, huge side hill barn to tour and the restored mansion to tour. Farm donated to city by a wealthy banker. Lots to see and enjoy
