I think there are rules in place. Me, not being a drone owner, doesn't know what they all are. I personally thought that any drone purchased after a certain date had to be registered. But, I do know someone who recently purchased a new one. And they claim they did not have to register theirs. Maybe they fell through a crack in the system. I don't really know. They been flying it. They seem to be a little foggy about the rules them self. But atleast they flying over their own property thus far. Makes me wonder how many of these drone owners even know what they can, or can not do, and how many of them are up to no good. I personally think they have a right to the air space, same as airplanes. But taking pictures and shooting video over property without having permission, I feel is an invasion of privacy. And I feel there should be a law against doing that if its without permission. Its no different than walking across property that is posted no tresspassing, to see what all is there.
