You didn't lie to him. That's BIG. I went over the 'mile long bridge' that has a posted speed of 45 MPH and at the drops to 35 MPH. Too late, I saw Polk City's finest pull out and come up behind me and start flashing his lights. He asked if I knew how fast I was going and I said '45', but I knew the limit dropped on my way into town. He said, 'I clocked you at 43 so just understand that when you pass the limit sign, that's the speed you should be at. No ticket; not even a warning. My 'blue' light is on as I type this....
