I ask on Implement Alley and didnt get a good answer so i am going to ask here. Ok i have a Gill Pulverizer and i need to replace all the spikes on. I have found on Agri-Supply 2 different ones. One is 5/8 square 8 inches long for 2.29 a piece the other is 5/8 x 7/8 by 8 inches long called diamond tooth. Now i dont know exactly which one is the one i need for now. But either way i called my local used to be for many many years Massey Ferguson dealer he told me the 5/8 ones is the most popular ones to use but there little over 9.00 a piece and his were hardened. Um so i called Agri supply they lady told me the 5/8 x 5/8 ones was made with 10-45 steel with a hardened tip. the other spike had no info. Thats a big price jump from 2.29 bucks to 9 bucks. My question is which will be the best way to go. Im almost feeling that these are the same or are they.

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
