I penned up a few heifers to wean last week, and they busted out of my corrall. It had been patched up for years, all the posts rotten. I figured if I wanted to wean anymore heifers, I was going to have to rebuild it. First, I had to work on the post hole digger. Freed up the shaft, welded up the frame, replaced a cross bearing and it was ready to work. Neighbor gave me a few locust posts, was able to re use the panels, and I added a top board. Was a trick driving the steeples into those locust posts! Just lack hanging the gates. The Massey wasn't working as hard as I was.
