NFPA changed that reg a few years ago, as long as it will pass pump test and DOT inspection it can still be used. For a lot of us small rural debts NFPA doesn't mean much, it's impossible to keep updated trucks and equipment (PPE) like NFPA wants on a $20,000 per year budget, 15 years ago that budget was $10,000. We survived on out dated freebe equipment from larger city depts that went by NFPA regs.
