New are very easy to get but pricy. The Amish put them up all the time. One friend I was at had a tornado destroy his just a half hour after I left and did not know about the storm till quite a while later after he had a new tower up. It came through just high enough off the ground the tower was the only thing the storm hit and when it went down it fell on his shop damaging a small part of the roof. Had to put the new fan on as well, think the motor was OK.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
