Steve I buy and sell quite a few shotguns it's one of my hobbies besides old tractors. I run across these old single barrels all the time. I have a distant cousin that has over 30 of them right now left out of his fathers and grandfathers huge collections of firearms and he can't get rid of them. Like the other reply said they were Hardware store guns From the early 1900's to the 50's if you had the money to put up a gun manufacture would make a run of shotguns for you with your name on it. I've seen all kinds of names over the years and all kinds of quality. Some were built pretty cheap and some were pretty good but the collectability of these guns is next to nothing. I've ran across some that I could find absolutely no information on. I have read that some companies would make as few as a hundred guns if they were slow on business. I haven't seen that name before so I can't help you on that one but if you do figure out who made I would love to know.
