I am doing a little mowing even though the weeds are still green. I tell the people I will be back in a month or so. Yesterday I had a bearing go our on the cross shaft on my flail mower. I always keep a couple spare bearings. I was just down the time to change the bearing. Lost a couple hours. Today I got a piece of chain link wire wound up in my mower reel. I loaded up and removed it at the shop. went back to finish. On the very last round I was actually finished. I decided to do some mowing around some fallen branches. The mower just stopped turning the slip clutch took over. I got at least 20 ft of chain link wound around my mower real again. It was so tight It would been a lot of cutting with the torch. The end of the wire stopped right where I could get a chain hooked to it. After a couple failed attempts, the fence started to unwind after pulling it out. Another 2 hours shot.
