Blowed the rings into the oil pan trying to start the dum thing , it is YANMAR 2220D ,, at least its runnin now but it is pukin oil out the vavle cover tub e,bad blow by i cant pull I to start because I am alone,,. so I was giving it a dose of ether to start it after changing fuel filter,, musta had a air pokt somewhere ,, could not get much more than a put r put nuthin ,, had fuel comin thru the fuel returns , no air , I was alternating between glow plugs and then comin back 5 minutes later and trying ether, and I guess I just got a little over zealous with the ether and didn't let the the glow plugs cool enuf,,. she went KAW -POW !! blowed off the air filter cap,, and probably shredded a compression ring,,.the motor don't make any noise like a ring is side cokt but I would bet I wilol have to sleeve the little stikr ,, I will yank the injector pump while it is down and try to figure out why the hale it is so hard to staert ,,this thang has really got my goat ,,.
