I was working on a couple of 640 ford tractors I split and was piecing back together. Mail is usually here about noon or so. About 12:30 I get some exercise by walking down my 1300 ft driveway to get the mail. Wave to the neighbor across the street. No mail yet so I head back up and continue to work on the tractors. A couple hours later I head back down to check the mail again. Neighbor still out there working in his yard with his wife now and I give them a wave again. No mail yet so I head back up and work on the tractors. About 15 minutes later I head in the house for something to drink. I see my wife and say no mail yet and she sez no mail today. So I say what is it a holiday? She sez no it's Sunday. I must be getting old when I don't know what day it is. Maybe it's cause my wife didn't go to church yesterday. Well as least I must have gave the neighbors a good laugh.

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep.
