My first wife had a '52 Mercury 2dr Customr when I married her in 1958.....we kept it as "our car" after we married as I had no car at the time. I had to overhaul it in 1959 having got it hot after skidding off the road into a snowbank here in Southern Michigan. I got to know that Mercury pretty well..... Old Mercury ran good until I traded it for a big, fancy, '55 Montclair 2dr hdtp in late 1961.
