I guess mine would probably fit that description. Both our boys left the farm and aren't coming back. One is a chemistry professor at Rhode Island University and the other is a lawyer and works for Missouri State University. Both enjoy coming home and jumping on a tractor or chasing some cattle once in a while and the grandkids love the farm, but they have no interest in coming back to farm. I never pressured them to farm, though I would have loved for them to stay. I suppose they made their decision during the '80s when they were kids and they saw the struggle to pay the bills. I always tried to stay positive but everyone knew it was hard times. Good memories though. Family matters more than the farm. It all started 43 years ago today. Our anniversary has me reminiscing a bit. ADB
