Evolution of the YT site discussion forums made things as they are now and it's unlikely to change. I think that years ago when this site first started up, had there been an OFF TOPIC forum listed first (which probably wouldn'td have made sense), it would likely have attracted most of the OT posts that we see on this forum now. That didn't happen but it's still a great place to visit even with OT posts. There are always some great posts on the Tractor Tales forum and I seldom visit there for some reason. Sometimes though there are probably genuine tractor-related posts right here on Tractor Talk that might get ignored because of poor titling that doesn't grab attention.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
