Hi 464, has a speed transmission(1-4) and a range transmission(Lo/Hi/Rev) and a differential. The speed transmission is closest to the clutch and the range transmission is in front of the differential. See caseih parts link for items 1 and 2 that are located under the left foot rest and behind the hydraulic oil filter and go thru the side of transmission case and control the Lo/Hi/Rev. If you are lucky the shift mechanism is just jammed and you can unlock it with a large screw driver. Worse case one of the two levers has sheared off inside the transmission case and is just turning freely. If one of the levers is sheared off re-post and I will post a procedure for replacing without tearing the transmission apart.
BE careful and chock the rear wheels before trying to unlock the transmission.
