I hate water heaters, they seem to go out at the most inopportune time. Monday morning I convince the wife I need another tractor, she informs me that we had no hot water. Wife is still working, I'm retired. Knowing I must make the wife happy before I can go look at tractors I start the process of trying to get someone out to replace the water heater.
In the interim I'm checking out Craigslist. See a really good looking Ford 3000 for a good price just listed. I can't go anywhere because I'm waiting for a durn water heater, this was the first appointment on Monday. Starts getting late in the day so call, nobody knows anything, now Monday is over. Tuesday, call another plumber, promises me they will be out that day. Starts getting late Tuesday so I call, OOPs they forgot about me. Call a another plumber, says he will be out on Wednesday. Finally have hot water late yesterday.
This morning I get an email from the Craigslist guy, Tractor was sold yesterday evening. #%$&*^%

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
