I'm with Dell on this one. If the spoon doesn't stand up straight in it then it's too weak, if the spoon dissolves then it's a little too strong.
Coffee has at least one thing in common with beer that I'm aware of.....people who don't drink the stuff believe all coffee and all beer taste the same. Nothing could be further from the truth. Sooo many variables in the brewing processes of both.
I grind mine fresh from gourmet beans every mourning. WAY better then those standard store brands. The best coffee I ever had was from beans grown in Hawaii, runner up was from Kentucky. Maybe some of you folks just haven't found what floats your boat yet. JD
