I don't have any brand I hate but will admit that there are a couple I do not have a whole lot of respect for. Mainly due to the human element to assign the proper blame to the proper party. Dad bought a high horsepower tractor back during the mid 1970's that I will refer to as brand Q which was a couple years old but still carried some warranty in one key respect. Anyhow, Brand Q's engine underwent repeated failure for various reasons over the next few years costing my father money sorely needed for other things. This could have been avoided if the local dealer for that brand had checked with corporate he would have known the motor was eligible for complete free replacement from the manufacturer. Even with all that the brand that Q evolved into is one that I think builds and has built a number of good products.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
