OK guys, I need some advice from the think tank. I have an 825i Gator and to get into the unit requires a 16 1/2" step-up from the ground. No problem for me, but my wife has had hip and knee replacements and it's a bit much for her. She can handle a 12" step or less. My question is, should I break out the welder etc and make a step or does anyone know of a manufactured step that will work? I've looked on-line, but can't find anything suitable. I was thinking the perfect step would be about 10" from the ground. It only has to be wide enough for one foot. Surprisingly, mother Deere hasn't thought of this yet.
I'm open to any and all ideas short of a "hotshot" assist to the seat. I'd like to live for a couple more years anyway. LOL Thanks in advance, Larry
