A buddy of mine had his Case G310G dozer catch on fire in the woods when He was using it. It sat for a year, but a couple weeks back he got it trailered over here to me. I got it pushed back into my shop and today, I started removing all the fire damaged components. The engine appears to be OK. The radiator tanks appear to be salvageable and hoping that they can be used with a new core. Starter survived, however solenoid and bat cables didn't. Wiring harness is junk as are all the gauges and switches in the dash, plus distributer, mechanical fuel pump, which is NOS from Case, carb., alt., water pump, and oil bath air cleaner, are all destroyed. Plan to go to local tractor salvage yard tomorrow and find some of these parts. My buddy handed me some C notes to buy the propriatory parts, and he has connections to buy all the generic parts like gauges, wire, hyd. hoses, alternator, etc. I will fab up a new wiring harness, as it is a simple 12V ignition system with a Delco 1 wire charging system. The undercarriage is excellent other than one bottom roller. When it is mechanically healthy again, it will get a new paint job. Loren
