Getting old makes it harder and harder to wrestle with 5 gallon cans of diesel. Saw an add on Graigslist for a 25 Gal tank with electric pump for what the pump alone was worth and ended up buying it. Seller had the pump tied to the tank handle which made it top heavy and very difficult to maneuver.
My scrap pile provided the raw material for a stand to mount the pump on and the battery I use for my sprayer provided the power. A 3/4 quick disconnect from eBay and a little paint finished it off.
Now I can disconnect the tank, throw it in the back of my pick up and haul it to a gas station. When I get back with it full my loader will handle the heavy lifting.
