I retired at 62 . It makes a big difference just what you were making/living off before. I never "made" over $ 36000 a yr before and two kids and stay at home wife/mother. Now you know I did all my home/auto repairs/maintenance myself and maybe a few other small side jobs but now everything is paid for , no kids , scale back to one vehicle , lot less living expenses. We have a little nest egg from parents inheritance for emergencies etc but we do ok. Do we winter in Fla..no , do we motorhome around the country ..no..never did so will never miss it. Our kids and their spouses and our grands all live within a mile of us and life is good. School events and camping trips and...well you get it. Anyone who thinks they need $ 65000 a year retired just because they had $ 100,000 a year working...well ..dream on.I know a lot of very unhappy high $$$$ absentee grandparents. Not this Grandpa !

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
