Bill, Not sure which is the strongest. The other day I needed a belt. I stopped off at Coldwell bearing to get one. While the guy was getting my belt I noticed they had many different bottles of lock-tite, prices around $37. I asked if the lock-tite had a rare metal or gold in it to make so expensive.
I would call Coldwell and see what they would recommend?
I had a problem with a large nut that wouldn't stay on, so I took a chisel and burgered up the threads. on the 1 inch bolt. Put a socket on nut, 2 ft cheater bar and jumped on the bar. Nut hasn't come loose after that. geo
