Dean, It wouldn't make sense for me to install a hole house generator. I'm lucky to need back up power once a year. Last year it was an hour before Thanksgiving dinner. Needed back up power to finish cooking and pump water. House was full of guests too..
Glad I have the remote generator to save the day.
So I'm good, got my few hours of back up power for 2017.
BYW, I bought this generator off craigslist for $150. It was like new. I've more than got my money worth out of this unit. It's cheap to use too, about a gallon every 3 hours.
