Farmall 966, 5 year old clutch, needed adjustment bad, So i adjusted it, gave it a half inch of freeplay at the floor board to where you can jiggle it with your fingers. when i start place my foot on the pedal and apply just a tiny amount of pressure on it, (not even enough to push it down), i can feel a little pulsating type of feeling. when i press it down, I have to press the clutch all the way down to the floor pretty much before the clutch will disengage to be able to shift. like i cannot shift it unless the pedal is completely pressed to the floor, yet i have the correct amount of free play on the clutch pedal. how do you adjust the little fingers or what ever inside of the inspection cover under clutch housing?
