Everything runs to 200k pretty well trouble free. The power is huge compared to yesteryear, and you can get a truck that rubs your butt while you drive. On the farm I have a '79 Ford F250, an '82 Dodge Rampage, and a 2000 Ford F550. None of these hold a candle to whatever you consider to be junk today, but they all do the job well enough for me. Recalls are a fact of life. The only thing new about them is how great we have it as consumers these days with getting the information and the number of things they'll fix.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
