Finding a good parts man anywhere can be a challenge these day's. Yes Deere dealers can check any others in the system for a part. If the dealer has it in inventory they can get it. You would be suprised how much stuff isn't even listed in the system. The old dealership I was at years ago had an old building full of parts from decades past that was never added to the computer system. If you happened to catch the old parts guy that worked only three day's a week due to his age you could buy parts that had been obsolete for 30 years or more. With parts number changes it was too much trouble for them to update their inventory from the day's of paper. I would bet there are other old dealerships in the same boat.
