: : I am considering buying this tractor, good shape, maybe a 1975?. The guy says make an offer but we don't have a clue as to the value. HELP! : ************** : Didn't mean to be so hard on ya ! : I worked in a Ford dealer for almost 10 years in parts, we spent half our time trying to explain to people that bought LONG's that they were not FORDs : Longs were and are still built in an Eastern European country : they have dealers located in america so you should be able to find on that can give you a value : Before you buy, besure of a dealer close enough to purchase parts and do repairs, also ask about weither parts can still be purchased for : one this old. There's been a lot going on in that part of Europe, and, you need to know BEFORE you buy !! : good luck Joe, I am afraid that you can't say that anymore, about that a Long isn't a Ford. The Long Manufacturing Co. now sells the old 3900 Ford or New Holland. It Is called the Farmtrac 60. I saw my first one at the Farmfest in Springfield Mo. I talked with one of the sellsmen and he said some of the parts for the tractor still says New Holland on them. The sheet metal still the same as the older fords GEO
