Yea they ran the D 301 , well that is where they started from and they went on up from there . The big problem is the heads ya can only force feed so much air thru small intake . Then your fighting the fact that you only have a 4 main bearing block . And now today you are bucking up against better engines that can breathe . then your always fighting against the guy that has the bottomless check book .
